Schedule Overview for Year

Landscape Season

  •     April  thru May

April 1st is our first official start date for landscaping.  Denpending on the winter there are times we may start earlier but definately by April 1st.  During this time we work on: spring clean-ups, bed preparation and mulch, lawn repair, open irrigation, and apply the first application of fertilizer.  Ask about our fertilizer program.

  • June  thru August

Lawn cutting is in full swing by this point; remember we cut as needed, yet keeping on a regular schedule. Again keeping up with the appropriate fertilizer applications.  This is the time we begin on projects: retaining walls, patio's, walkways,  yard restorations, fire pits, and other various projects.  We are here to service your needs!

  • September  thru October

Lawn cutting starting to slow down, always keeping up with the fertilizer.  This time is prime time for new lawns.  Now is the time for the loam and seed.  The warm days and cool nights are ideal conditions for new lawns to germinate and grow, giving you a jump start to a great lawn in the spring.  For established lawns, let's keep it full, thick and healthy.  Dethacthing or aerating (we recommend 1 each season, alternating)  and over-seeding will keep your lawn in tip top shape!

  • November thru December

Cool, look at all the pretty color leaves.  Well, those leaves end up on the ground.  It is important to have leaves clean-up off the lawn, especially pine.  These materials turn the soil acidic, good lawns like a nuetral soil.  We do our leaf clean-up in 2 stages: 1st stage maple leaves 2nd stage oak leaves.  Maple leaves fall first, and oak take longer sometimes not till spring.  Not everyone needs 2, but for those who do, it keeps the labor down, better for the lawn, and allows us to keep all of our lawns looking good.

Winter Season

  • December thru March

We cover you snow needs, when needed.  We prioritize our clients that are emergency personell, and from the there, the route is mapped to be most efficient.  We want to have all of you cleared out as soon as possible; so we do our best to stick to the route.  We do make exceptions in rare occassions for emergencies.

Summary

The above time frame is just a guide, and there is over-lap.  We are here to service you and your needs, and everyone has different requirements, tastes, or even special occassions.  Let us know your needs, and we will work together to meet your goals.  Keep in mind, winter doesn't mean you can't work in the yard.  Do you have a project you would like done, maybe it can be done during this time.
